I'm 14.I have been drinking a lot of water and seltzer in the past few months. I've also been urinating frequently. When I was in 8th grade last year I weighed around 134 lbs. This past summer I weighted 127 lbs and now I weigh 120 lbs. This has been unintentional weight loss and I am wondering if this is a big enough weight loss to be a sign.I've been quite tired lately. When I get home from school I am exhausted.I don't know if this counts but I have been having some short term memory loss lately. But my real question is, do these signs have to be extreme in order for one to have diabetes? Thanks in advance Also, one day when I was running around playing tennis and exercising I got an intense headache.Thank you Plus, diabetes is in my family.

My husband has type 1 diabetes?
he had a high blood sugar of 271, he corrected it, but then he started feeling dizzy, so he layed down, but when trying to position himself, he got naseous, and he just recently threw up, i've known my husband for 2 years and during those 2 years he has never vomited with a high blood sugar, nor has he been one to get very dizzy...he usually keeps his blood sugars in check, his doctor usually praises him during visits for doing such a good job...theres a stomach flu going around too in our area...and we were out shopping yesterday so i'm unsure if it could have been his sugars...or if he could have a stomach flu suggestions

ok so i was diagnosed with type one diabetes when i was 9 years old. and im 14 almost 15 now. ive only had one boyfriend and i was really shy about it. i have an insulin pump and it has that little site thats always in my tummy so i didn't really like wimming with him cause he thought it was a little wierd. i broke up with wim a while ago he's an a$$ im in high school now and started to like a few guys...do you think my dabetes will creep guys out and not like me...? im fine with it around my girl friends but not so much around guys i like. its the ONLY thing im even a little shy about... im a very...out there kinda person.QUESTION Do you think me having diabetes will stop guys from liking me or wanting to go out with me?my first boyfriend was really mean and stuff that's why i called him an a$$
Type 1 diabetes, extreme weight loss?
My ex partner has been a type 1 diabetic for 15 years now, over the past 6 months or so, he has gotten so skinny, it hurts to look at him. He has always been thin, but you can make out his bones now, and he's getting to look like a skeleton with skin stretched over He's 6ft 2 and weighs about 10 st. I'm trying to get him to go to the Dr, but is there anything he could do to put some weight on??

I turned 19 and my kidscare no longer covers my medicine I don't have insurance or a doctor anymore I looked up how to get discounts and they say for the medicine I use I need a signed paper from my doctor. Type 1 diabetes and losing weight...?
I have type 1 diabetes, I was just diagnosed last year when I was 17. I want to lose about 25 pounds my Dr. said that will help with increasing my insulin sensitivity, even though I am not actually " overweight" , but if I lose 25 30 pounds I will still be in the healthy weight range. It's so hard How do I do this? ? It seems if I exercise then my blood sugar drops too low, if I eat a " healthy" meal of salad rice & beans, my blood sugar goes up too high, and I, after cutting calories by about 300 a day and exercising almost an hour a day 5 days a week have lost only 2 pounds in 2 months It's getting so depressing. Help?
