Why is my blood sugar crazy?
I have always needed to eat somewhat regularly. when i was little i couldnt miss a meal. and if i ever didnt eat before my regular eating time i would refuse to eat. I can't quite explain it but i just didn't want to. At these times i was also easily irritated. And then every once and a wile, not too often but one a few months or something like that, i would have a freak out. It wouldn't be on a day that was out of the ordinary, like if i didnt eat, it was just on days like any other. When i saw freak out, i mean temporary insanity. I refuse to eat, i can barely walk, i feel nauseous, hyper ventilate, and recently when this has happened i see red, blue or black spots. I do have a meter, and i have checked my blood sugar during one of these freak outs and it said i was 85, but my meter ten minutes later said i was 130, so i think its not right. I took a glucose test and i was fine, so i dont know whats wrong. This happens everyday now and i need an answer. I should also mention i drink a lot of water. Im also 14.since someone asked, id say i drink about 3 20 ounce bottles a period every period at school and at least 20 when i get home. My dads side is filled with diabetes as is my moms, but neither of my parents have it.

Why do blood sugars go down after eating?
I'm not diabetic, but I told my doctor I wanted to monitor my blood sugar for a week because diabetes runs in my family, so he gave me 2 different monitors to use. I used both to test my blood this morning. I tested my blood sugar fasting this morning and the first monitor said my blood sugar was 102, but the second monitor which my doctor said is a better monitor said my blood sugar was 85. I tested again on the better monitor and my blood sugar was 90. After lunch I tested on both monitors again. The monitor that read my blood sugar as 102 this monring was now reading it as 96 and the monitor that read my blood as 85 and 90 this monring was now reading it was 110. My question is, the " not so good" monitor showed that my blood sugar dropped after eating. Is this normal? I though it went up after eating and the " better" monitor did show that it went up. Are these numbers normal?

Low blood sugar levels...how serious?
I recently went for a blood test because I was always falling asleep in class, can't concentrate when I AM awake and feel tired throughout the day. The last time I took a blood test, my doctor told me to take iron supplements.The result I got from this blood test was 25... My doctor told me that the normal range is between 40 80. Just how serious is this and is there anything I can do to be in the normal range?p.s. I took the blood test about 3 hours after breakfast. I've been told to drink orange juice but it doesn't really help.

Low Blood Sugar - Blood Test Results?
Hi all,Recently I have been feeling very run down, tried all the time, aching bones, feeling nausea and unmotivated. I went to my doctor and did a blood test. The doctor gave me the all clear, but did say that I had low blood sugar, but not diabetes. He said I must of just missed breakfast, which I did. But I did go out for lunch and had a steak and choc cake for dessert atleast one hour prior to the taking of blood for the blood test. I would have thought this sugar would have already entered my blood by this time and would show in the blood test? I am wondering should I take another blood test in case I do have Diabetes and the first test is wrong.
