Is a diabetes health counselor the same as a diabetes educator?
Since i have hypoglycemia does that mean i'm going to get diabetes, and does it mean i need to eat more sugar?
I Thought i was a high sugar eater, but i guess not i was diagnosed with hypoglycemia i don't even know why, but I was, and my dad says i need to eat more sugar but i don't want to because IM AFFRAID OF GETTING DIABETES.
What does the doctor do to check for diabetes?
I have been having some symptoms of diabetes for the past couple of weeks. I have been drinking tons of water and going to the bathroom nonstop. I have also had some blurred vision, shortness of breath, and nausea. I have a doctors appointment this week and I was wondering if anyone knew how they tested for diabetes and if they will be able to tell me the results right away or if it will take like a week to get them back or something? I was also wondering if there is anything else they might test me for? Any info you have would be helpful. Thanks
Thirstiness and urination but not diabetes?
I got my fasting blood gluscose test back which was 4.9 so I don't know why I'm constantly thirsty, I don't think it's diabetes insipidus as the only reason I'm going to the toilet is because I'm drinking alot, what else could it be?

i had a energy drink just over a year ago and i got a sugar rush. i have slowly been getting more tired so around May last year i got a blood test for anemia and the results came back negetive. I have been getting even more tired latly so today i tried a energy drink to try wake me up, nothing happened so i had another one and again no difference at all. i just got more tired after them. My mum thinks it could be a type of diabeties as it goes down in the family on my dads side, what do you think?

i am 14 years old, 5'7" , 115 pounds, i run 3 to 5 miles a day competitively and i eat fairly heathly for a teenager and i have been experiencing the symptoms frequent urination, really thirsty, really hungry, really tired, light headedness, multiple headaches a day, and slow healing cuts. Do i have diabetes and should a see a doctor?
What happens when you forget to inject insulin for a person with type one diabetes? doctors and nurses please?
i know this is really bad for me to be asking but i honestly don't know the answer i have type one diabetes, i was diagnosed in december 2008 so it's been a while since the doctor told me what happens when i don't inject insulin in myself or i forget to do it. i don't wanna test it incase it's something really dangerous. The doctor told me, i just forgot. lol. and what are the signs that i need more insulin? like, physical signs and effects.

i went for a blood test and they asked me to come back for a second because i was neutrein low or something so i did and they said there is nothing wrong with me but i have all the symptoms and my mum wont take me bac to the doctors because she thinks the doctors cant misdiagnose you but they can what should i do. oh yeah my mum said when she was a child she had anemia which is kind of similar ???????
Is it possible for me or my sister to get cancer or diabetes?
On my father s side of the family all of his siblings has diabetes except for himself and one of his sisters. Instead of diabetes they got cancer, is it possible that my father having had 3 children one male and a set of female twins would my sister and I get diabetes or cancer?? or would we just be carriers for one or both of the diseases??as far as i know there are 3 different types of cancer in are families blood line on my father s side skin cancer, I suspect the second one to be lung cancer, and my father refused to tell me what the third one is.my sister and I are 5 years younger than our brother, us being 18 and our brother being 23.

i a 15 year old guy, and my dad has diabetes. the other day i checked my blood on his machine. it was 175 an hour later the reading was 150, and an hour after that it was 110. today, i came home from school and the reading was 128. my dad said the reading should be 120 or less. do i have diabetes? im really scared. also, although it might be paranoi spelling? , i think i have been getting thirsty and peeing alot, which i know are symptoms. but im really worried about the reading. Someone please give me some info or advice. btw, im not overwieght or anything, although i eat alot of junk, and i havent been physically active since the summer.
How do you know when you have Sugar Diabetes?
My Friend has dizzy spells and she has been to the doctor but he has not test her for sugar diabetes he has giving her X Ray on her ear.
